INTRODUCTION
Toppsfarms a family-owned farm began in 2008 with the efforts of Mathiyasge Jeewan Dabarera and his wife when they thought of expanding their individually driven industry at the time. The roots of this now thriving farm can be traced back to a time when Mr. Dabarera would provide for his customers by carrying chickens on a bicycle and selling them at the market.
The company located in Dalugama, Ja Ela, Sri Lanka has come a long way since its humble beginnings. Toppsfarms today is moving towards a more diversified agenda providing their customers organically produced nutritious products.
Today, Toppsfarms have farms based in various locations including in Madurankuliya, Adigama, Polgahawela, Palviya, Minuwangoda focused on various diversifications of the company.
The processing plants located in [……] produce over 15,000 birds per day. All products are carefully prepared and catered to suit the needs of the customers. One of the new additions to the Toppsfarms family is JD Farms which is an animal feed mill, established in 2018. JD farms located in Adigama and Puttalam produce animal feed for various livestock
Toppsfarms has also diversified into Dairy farming, Vegetable farming and tending a coconut plantation of over [..] hectares. Dairy cow one of TToppsfarms latest products ethically sources milk from over 100 cows.
